Agreement

By using TIMESURF.TV (the "Site") you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site. These terms may be updated from time to time; continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.

What the Site is

TIMESURF.TV is a small independent project that arranges and embeds publicly available YouTube videos into a channel-surfing-style interface organized by year and category. The Site is provided as a free curiosity for personal, non-commercial enjoyment.

Third-party content

All videos played through the Site are embedded from YouTube. The Site does not host, reproduce, distribute, or claim ownership of the underlying video, audio, or related metadata. All rights remain with the original rights holders and uploaders. Playback is subject to YouTube's terms of service and YouTube's own player controls; clips can become unavailable at any time if uploaders remove them, restrict embedding, or change their privacy settings.

If you are a rights holder and you believe a particular clip should not be presented through the Site, please contact us at hello@timesurf.tv and we will remove the entry from our list. Note that removing the entry from the Site removes only its appearance in our shuffle; the original video on YouTube is controlled by its uploader.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Site to violate any applicable law or another person's rights.
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, scrape at industrial scale, or interfere with the Site's normal operation.
• Reverse-engineer, reuse, or republish the Site's curated clip lists or codebase for a competing commercial product without permission.
• Bypass or remove any embedded YouTube player controls, advertising, or attribution.

No warranty

The Site is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. The Site may contain broken embeds, factual errors in clip metadata, or content that some viewers may find objectionable for their era or context. The Site does not guarantee continued availability, accuracy, or fitness for any particular purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Site's operator is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of enjoyment, or content you encounter that you wish you hadn't.

Privacy

Your use of the Site is also governed by the Privacy Policy, which describes the limited categories of data the Site processes (and the third-party services that handle hosting, playback, and ads).
